Boulder Chamber Names Esprit 2012 Entrepreneur Winners

BOULDER, Colorado, August 7, 2012 — For 28 years, Esprit Entrepreneur, the signature event of the Boulder Chamber, has been Boulder Valley’s premier event celebrating the success and vitality of our local entrepreneurial community and its leaders.
The Boulder Chamber is proud to announce the 2012 honorees:
Lifetime Achievement Award: Steve Bosley, University of Colorado Regent and founder of the Bolder Boulder 10K road race.
Entrepreneur of the Year: Justin Gold, Justin’s Nut Butter
Entrepreneurs of Distinction: Dale Katechis, Oskar Blues; Phil Villella and Chris Petersen, LogRhythm; Nathan Seidle, SparkFun Electronics
Companies to Watch: Jeff Bisberg, Albeo and John Spiers, Nexgen Storage
Awards will be officially presented at the 28th annual Esprit Entrepreneur awards event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16th at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield. The format includes a networking cocktail hour for all attendees, followed by a dinner and awards ceremony.
In addition to the awards event, Esprit will host a CU Innovations Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10th at NCAR. The popular Breakfast/Lunch Series where attendees can dine with successful local entrepreneurs will be held October 9th, 11th, 12th and 15th.
This year’s title sponsors for Esprit are Ehrhardt Keefe Steiner & Hottman (EKS&H) and Elevations Credit Union.
