Hindsight is 2020 – but The Future is Now.
Valarie Kaur writes in her new memoir ‘See No Stranger’ that grieving is an act of revolutionary love. She writes that “grieving together, we ease each other’s suffering and come to know each other. Only when we know each other can we understand how to stand up and fight for each other – and the world we want.”
Each one of us has a story that is beautiful, important and uniquely ours. By sharing our stories with each other we can begin to break down the invisible wall between self and other. We are able to see pieces of ourselves in others, which allows us to share in their joy and empathize with their challenges. In short, our stories help us build our community.
Join us for a discussion with three extraordinary local female leaders as we explore how the challenges of 2020 brought personal resiliency and communal growth. Our panelists will share stories that shaped their leadership journeys, and we will dive into what inspires their vision of the future and how each of us can amplify our community impact.
We will be joined by these panelists:
