Job Description
The primary responsibilities of this full-time, hourly position with benefits, are to 1) work as part of the program team to deliver the safety net services BCCC provides to seniors 60+ in Boulder County, 2) work directly with clients and volunteers to ensure services are being properly provided, 3) maintain a positive presence for BCCC within the community. This position includes recurring access to vulnerable populations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Answering incoming calls and assisting or directing the caller appropriately
  • Providing friendly customer service for clients and volunteers
  • New client intake, maintaining client paperwork and gathering required information from clients
  • Accurately maintaining database of service requests, approving volunteer/client job matches, communicating information to volunteers and clients.
  • Creating reports on services, volunteers and clients
  • Responsible for all components and on-site management of Carry Out Caravan shopping days
  • Coordinating volunteer assignments
  • Troubleshooting program equipment or databases
  • Assisting with special events, outreach and projects as needed
  • Working with the programs team to improve services
  • Monitoring and replenishing program supply inventories
  • Providing program volunteers with guidance
  • Proactively cross-educate clients on all BCCC programs
  • Administrative and clerical assistance for general office projects
  • Other duties as assigned, including attending meetings, taking on special projects, participating in other activities and tasks as requested

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative duties and data entry in an office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer competencies
  • Spanish/English bilingual a plus
  • Current Colorado driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Meet the National Service Criminal History Check requirements
 Essential functions/working conditions
  • General office environment plus some outreach and service activities in non-office locations
  • Shopping day coordination occurs at a local grocery store
  • Light physical demands
  • Able to communicate by phone
  • Able to work under stress of meeting deadlines and changing priorities
  • Able to operate business machines and technology
  • Work hours may occasionally include some evenings and weekends
 Compensation: $14/hr + company paid health, dental, vision insurance; PTO/VTO package (vacation, sick leave, holidays, IRA, volunteer time off).
 
Schedule (Not Negotiable): M, W, F 8am-4pm; Tu, Th 6:30am-2:30pm
