Making Return to Work Work for You

If you are a new Pinnacol policyholder or new to handling workers’ compensation claims, this course is for you! It is designed to help employers return injured workers safely to work by offering modified duty. You’ll learn when and how to contact Pinnacol’s return to work consultants and what resources are available to you. You’ll also discover how offering modified duty can help your organization better manage your claims and save money.

•    How to identify modified duty tasks
•    Pinnacol’s resources and tools


Speaker

Sally Parkinson, MBA, CRM
Return- to-Work Specialist 

Sally Parkinson has more than 22 years of worker’s compensation and vocational rehabilitation experience. She came to Pinnacol in 2001. Sally assists Pinnacol Assurance policyholders with return-to-work programs, helping injured workers return to their jobs and holding down claims costs. A Pinnacol employee since 2001, Parkinson previously served with Continental Insurance as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. She is a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and her master’s degree in business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology.

This meeting is approved for the Boulder Chamber's Safety Group program and counts towards one of the two sessions each member must attend per policy period.
